Clyde Morris Cline

Clyde Morris Cline, 89, of Tool, Texas, passed away on January 6, 2026.

Morris was born on November 19, 1936, in Westbrook, Texas. He married his high school sweetheart and lifelong love, Patsy Ruth Cline, on August 18, 1956, in Carlsbad, New Mexico. Together, they shared many decades of love, family, and cherished memories.

Morris is preceded in death by his parents, Idis Clyde and Myrtle Faye (Morris) Cline; sister, Barbara Gail Cline; and his beloved wife, Patsy Ruth Cline.

Morris is survived by his daughter, Jayne Cline VanNatta of Georgetown, Texas; his sons, Jay Morris Cline (Lisa) of Danville, Illinois, and James William Cline (Debbie) of Tool, Texas; granddaughters, Amanda Partida (Paul) of Georgetown, Texas, and Ashley VanNatta (Tiffany) of New Braunfels, Texas; and his beloved great-grandchildren, Leah and Logan who brought him immense joy.

He was a proud United States Marine Corp Veteran and worked for AT&T for 36 years.

Morris’ life was marked by his devotion to family, his service to his country, and his steadfast determination. He will be remembered with love by all who knew him.
