Clinton Keith Holmes

Clinton Keith Holmes, 54, passed away on July 26, 2020.  He was born on March 29, 1966, in Dallas, Texas, to the home of Virgil Wayne and Sylvia Jordan Holmes.

Keith was a carpenter by trade and built homes.  He was always drawing and enjoyed all sorts of arts and crafts.  He was a knife collector and loved motorcycles and old cars.  Keith was always helping everyone.  The kids in his neighborhood called him “Grape Ape.”  That name stuck with him, and from then on, all his friends called him “Grape Ape.”  He loved his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Keith is survived by his daughter Jessica Flat; mother Sylvia Jordan Peyton; brother Kenneth Wayne Holmes; sisters Cindy Kay Jinkins and husband Richard, and Kimberly Elaine Pratt; three grandchildren; three nephews; and one niece.

He is preceded in death by his father Virgil Wayne Holmes.
