Charly "Char" Gale Gurley

Charly “Char” Gale Gurley, 15, passed away on July 2, 2020.  She was born on May 8, 2005, in Webster, Texas, to the home of Michael Wayne and Beatrice Gurley.

Charly was an honor student at Mabank High School.  Her desire was to pursue a career in IT.  She loved to sing and was in the school choir.  Her favorite pastime was reading.  Outdoor activities included roller skating, skate boarding, and walking all the neighbors’ dogs.  Charly loved riding on the motorcycle with her big brother.  Most importantly, she had a deep love for her family and cherished the time they would spend together laughing and making memories.  Forever in our hearts, Charly will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her parents Mike and Bea Gurley; brother Justin Irick; sister Sara Sandercock; paternal grandfather Charles Gurley; and maternal grandmother Paula Green.  Also left to cherish her memory are numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather Donnie Green, grandmother Marcia Lobban, and uncle David Gurley.
