Chad James Shewmake

Chad James Shewmake, 36, passed away on December 10, 2022.  He was born on May 28, 1986, in Laramie, WY, to parents Marvin Shewmake and Brenda Hansen Shewmake.

Chad was a loved husband, son, grandson, brother, cousin, and a father to beautiful babies. Even when people couldn’t understand what he was saying, because he sounded like Boom Hauer, he could make people laugh. No matter what, he always had a smile on his face. He was mischievous. He’s the only man who could keep a six-pack of abs without working out. He was dedicated to his work and was damn talented at it.  You could either find him fishing, in the mountains, or in his truck, Ole Red. He was a cowboy at heart who had lots of love to share. At one time or another, you were probably picked on by Chad, but it was those he loved most who knew that was how he showed his love. As Chad said best, “Put your head down and go to work; onward and forward, troops.” He will be missed and cherished forever. Rest in peace. Roll Up – Roll Out

Chad is survived by his mother Brenda Shewmake; father Marvin Shewmake; wife Taylor Powell; children Alexandria Shewmake, Nathan Shewmake, and Chance Shewmake; brothers Eric Shewmake, and Bubba Gray; uncle Nick; and nephew Ripp Shewmake.

He is preceded in death by his brother Todd Lee Shewmake, grandmother Vera Molenda, and father Tony Gray.

Pallbearers are Leo Bowling, Lil Roger, Trey Crawford, Jonathan Currie, Tony Ortega, and JoJo Lawson.
