Cecil Wayne McKenzie

December 9, 1939 — November 29, 2021

Cecil Wayne McKenzie, 81, passed away on November 29, 2021.  He was born on December 9, 1939, in Austin, Texas, to parents James Arthur McKenzie and Emma Cottle McKenzie.

Cecil Wayne loved serving the Lord, singing gospel music, and enjoying fellowship with his Christian family.  He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a caring, thoughtful brother to his siblings and extended family.  He loved teaching his three sons and grandson his many talented traits.  Hobbies included gardening, hunting, and his community service with the Mabank Volunteer Fire Department.  Cecil Wayne was a very kind man and would do anything for anyone.  He was a father to those that didn’t have one.  He will be dearly missed by all that truly knew and loved him.
