Brenda Followwell

Brenda Joan Followwell passed away on June 12, 2023, in Tyler, Texas. Brenda was born on October 31, 1942, in Dallas, TX, to parents W.T. and Maudie (Carroll) Sorrells.

Brenda was a kind-hearted woman with a passion for feeding and helping people. Her career lasted over 30 years with Freight lines before eventually retiring. For Brenda, her true joy resided in her family and how much care she would pour into ensuring their upmost comfort.

Brenda's hobbies involved yard work and keeping the house clean with attention to detail that was evident from just walking into her home. She cherished her grandkids and cherished every moment spent with them. She'd watch soap operas when she wanted to add some drama into her life.

Brenda is preceded by her husband Tony Ray Followwell, parents, W.T and Maudie Sorrells, sons, Tony Lynn Followwell; Ray Glenn Followwell. siblings Billie, Doris & William.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter Sherri Moore, daughter-in-law Melinda Moore, grandkids Toni Rae Followwell and fiancée Robert McGuire, Christi Thorn and husband Chris, Blake Mooneyham and wife Roseanna, Ray Followwell and wife Katrina, Aimee Mooneyham, Julie Driver and husband Mark, Destinee Smith, Brandon Yates, Terry Yates, 14 great-grandchildren, two siblings Jeanie and Toby, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her tremendously.
