Bobby Joe Lamb

Bobby Joe Lamb, 88, passed away on January 24, 2020.  He was born on December 27, 1931 in New Boston, Texas, to the home of Jess H. and Austelle Lamb.

Bobby was a WWII Army veteran.  After serving his country, he became a contract painter by profession and painted for over 60 years.  He loved his family and raised a step-son and step-grandson.  In his spare time Bobby enjoyed fishing.  He was a very private person and never let on he was ill.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by grandson Joe Merimon and wife Ashley; three great-grandchildren; sister Gerry Mikel; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Betty Ivey Lamb; and brother J.R. Lamb.
