Betty Sue Allen, 69, passed away on September 19, 2020.  She was born on June 7, 1951, in Kaufman, Texas, to the home of William Ezra and Mattie Lee Hastings.

She was a person who was all about family.  She had ears that truly listened, arms that always held you tight, love that was never ending, and a heart made of gold.  She loved her Hallmark Channel and ordering online no matter if she needed it or not.  She was a loving mother, nana, nene, sister, cousin, aunt, and sister-in-law who will be dearly missed.

Betty is survived by her children Kim Allen and boyfriend Mark Steakley, Michael Allen and wife Jennifer, Kenny Allen and wife Greta, David Allen and wife Lenise, Stevie Allen and wife Darilene, Cheryl Anders, and Shannon Allen; 17 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren; brother Ollie Hastings and wife Sherrie; sisters Billie Trinkler, Carolyn Southgate and husband George, and Nell Shock and husband Tom; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 48 years James Allen; brothers Clarence Daniels, Junior Daniels, and Jimmy Ray Daniels; and sisters Dorothy Wade, Shirley Sanders, and Hazel Pierson.
