Benjamin White, age 75, passed away on July 18, 2026, in Mabank, Texas. He was born in Dallas, Texas on June 5, 1951 to parents Benjamin and Frances (Smith) White.
Benjamin was the kind of man who found joy in the simple things in life. He loved spending time fishing, especially when he could share those moments with his grandson, Gabriel. Some of his happiest memories were made with a fishing rod in hand and family by his side.
More than anything, Benjamin loved his grandchildren. He had a special soft spot for his granddaughter, Liv, who he loved to spoil whenever he could. His family meant the world to him, even if he didn't always say it out loud.
Those who knew Benjamin knew him affectionately as a "grumpy old fart"—a nickname he wore well. Beneath the gruff exterior was a kind, loyal, and loving man with a big heart and a quiet way of showing he cared.
Benjamin is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Frances Smith; and daughter, April White.
Benjamin is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Brenda White of Mabank, Texas; daughter, Amy White and husband Isacc Ocanas of Mabank, Texas; grandson, Gabriel Ocanas of Mabank, Texas; granddaughter, Liv Ocanas of Mabank, Texas; brother, Bill White; as well as numerous other family, friends, and loved ones.
