Barbara Myers

Barbara Myers, 84, passed away on November 14, 2020.  She was born on April 16, 1936, in Dallas, Texas.

She married the love of her life on July 3, 1954.  She was a stay-at-home mom, and together she and Johnie raised 5 children.  Barbara enjoyed oil painting, and her greatest piece of art was “The Last Supper.”  Other hobbies included quilting, crocheting, and gardening.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Eustace, Texas, and knew her bible from front to back.  She loved Jesus Christ and became a powerful prayer warrior for Him.  Barbara will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by children Jimmy Myers and wife Glenna, Jerry Myers and wife Darlene, and Johnie Myers, Jr. and wife Sheila; grandchildren Mickey, Chrissie, Billy Ray, Sarah, Michael, Elisha, Greg, Jeremy, Jamie, Cody, Miranda, and Michelle; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother Arthur Ross Adams (Sonny); brother-in-law Thomas Clayton.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Johnie; her parents; son Jay Myers; daughter Jennifer Beer; sisters Muriel Adams and Angie Louise Adams Clayton.
