Though most knew him as Baldemar, to his mom and cousins he was simply “Baly” a nickname that now brings comfort and sweet remembrance.

Always known for telling jokes, he brought laughter to those around him. He was always willing to help others; every time his dad needed something done around the house, he was there to do it. He cherished his family and was the eldest of eight siblings. He loved sharing his passions with his son, Daniel by taking him fishing. He would often clean the fish himself so his mother could cook them for him, creating special memories they both treasured. He also enjoyed drawing and often shared his artwork with his granddaughters, sending them special pieces he had created for their birthdays.
Rooted in the Catholic faith, he carried with him a hope in God’s mercy and everlasting love.
