Anna M. Harris Hellebrand

Anna Margaret Harris-Hellebrand was born the youngest of 5 siblings, Mary, Betty, Frank, and Paul, to Paul and Frances Koncak in Dallas, Texas on January 9, 1940, and passed away Thursday, September 3, 2026.

Anna lived a full and meaningful life centered on faith, family, friendship, and service to others.

She was 86 years old and lived a full life having married Paul Suitor at the age of 16. They had 2 daughters, Paula Burleson of Dallas, and Andrea Nipp of Crandall, TX. Anna enjoyed making clothing for them, dressing them in like outfits.

Paul and Anna divorced in 1972 after 16 years of marriage.

On Aug 4,1972 Anna married Billy Carroll Harris. She and Billy worked for Sears and Roebuck, moving to Tool, TX in 1980 having built a house with the help of family. They lived together in the house until his death in 2018.

Anna retired from Sears in 1985 and held other jobs in the Tool area. First, teaching kindergarteners in 1989 and realizing her dream of being a secretary at the First Baptist Church of Tool.

Anna married Walter Hellebrand, whom she met at the nursing facility where he cared for his wife as she cared for Billy. They had developed a friendship and enjoyed many activities together, ultimately marrying in October of 2020.

Anna enjoyed painting ceramic figurines, making stuffed animals, and working puzzles.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Frances Koncak; her husbands, Walter Hellebrand, Billy Carroll Harris, and Paul Suitor; and her siblings Mary, Betty, and Frank.

Anna is survived by her brother, Paul, 2 daughters, Paula Burleson and her husband David; Andrea Nipp and her husband Mickey. Five grandchildren, Christi Benham and her husband Chris; David Burleson II and his wife Jill; Andrew Burleson and his wife Tiffany; Joshua Nipp and Angela Nipp. Eight great grandchildren, Addison Phillips and her husband Mike, Hannah Tennison and her husband David; Jacob Burleson, Noah Burleson, Kamrin Burleson, Eleanor (Ellie) Burleson, Jack Burleson, and her namesake, Anna Burleson. Four great great grandchildren, Emma Tennison, Harper Tennison, Chandler Phillips, and Bella Phillips.
