Allen Stewart Brier

Allen Stewart Brier, 80, of Enchanted Oaks, passed away peacefully after experiencing a heart event on October 15, 2021.  He was born on April 29, 1941, in Brooklyn, NY, to parents Irving and Ester Brier.

He was a 38-year resident of Enchanted Oaks and was much loved and admired by his community.  He dedicated himself to the betterment of the delightful Enchanted Oaks community and spent his golden retirement years employed as the community groundskeeper.  Allen was also active with the Enchanted Oaks Board, the Cedar Creek Water Board and served as a volunteer firefighter for many years.  No task was too small or large for Allen, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him for his generosity, dedication, and New York accent.

Allen is survived by his daughter Terrie Brier-Tompkins; sister Felice Ehrlich; sister-in-law Janette Woody; nephews David Ehrlich and wife Theresa, and Daniel Woody; niece Tina Grubbs.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 54 years, Marian Brier.

Bro. Ed Shauer, with the First Church of the Nazarene in Gun Barrel City, Texas, will officiate for the Brier family.
