Alice Faye Brown

June 14, 1953 — May 2, 2022

On May 2, 2022, Alice Faye Brown, 68, entered into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, after a brief illness.  She was born on June 14, 1953, in Troup, Texas, to Elmer and Beatrice Womick Bates.

Alice was blessed to have two additional brothers and two additional sisters.  During the journey of her life here on earth, Alice had two sons, Tommy and Jason Miller.  On July 31, 1986, Alice married William Irvin Brown and added one more son and two daughters to her family.

Alice graduated from Kemp High School and spent a large part of her career selling real estate around the Cedar Creek Lake area.  Alice enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, visiting with her friends, and going hunting and camping with her husband.  She loved plants and always made sure to have ferns hanging across her front porch.

Alice is preceded in death by her daughter Regina Alise Brown Goodwin, her brother Alan Bates, her sister Pam Raines, and her parents Elmer and Bea Bates.

She is survived by her husband William Brown, son Tommy Miller, son Jason and Amanda Miller, son Allen and Stacey Brown, daughter Stephanie and Michael Patak.  She is also survived by grandchildren Wade Miller and Jordyn, Lexie Miller, Wyatt Miller, Kaci Miller, Raymond and Lauren Patak, Ryan Patak and Amanda, Joshua Goodwin, Colton Brown, Cannon Brown and Melia, Grayson Brown, Jesse Berry and her beloved pet Lucy.
