Alice Gayle Bostick, age 83, passed away on August 3, 2025, in Athens, Texas. She was born on March 18, 1942, to parents Lloyd and Ethelyn (Mears) Hall.

Alice was a dedicated worker who proudly spent 18 years as a checker and at the service desk at HEB, as well as serving as a receptionist at Methodist Hospital. Her career reflected her kind heart and service-oriented nature, always ready to assist those around her with a smile.

Born and raised in Texas, Alice graduated from Sunset High School. Throughout her life, she maintained a love for all things Texas, especially the Texas Rangers baseball team. She enjoyed gathering with friends to play a game of 84, finding joy in both friendly competition and the company of those she loved.

Gardening was another passion of hers; Alice enjoyed nurturing flowers and vegetables in her garden. She appreciated the beauty of nature and often took special care of her cattle, cherishing her connection to the land. Alice also had a soft spot for Taco Tuesdays and delighted in the simple pleasure of going to the movies.

Known affectionately by many as "Spunky," Alice was a vibrant personality who never shied away from the joy of living. Her spunky spirit and her zest for life will surely be missed by all who knew her. Alice leaves behind a cherished memory for family, friends, and the community. She embraced life with enthusiasm and left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to cross her path.

Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Bostick; brother, Lloyd Hall, Jr.; father, Lloyd Hall, Sr.; mother, Ethelyn Hall; husband, Joe Harrison, Sr.

Alice is survived by her son, Joe Harrison and wife Donna of Salado, Texas; son, Gary Harrison and wife Margret of Gun Barrel City, Texas; daughter, Donna Dodson and husband Tommy Wheeley of Tool, Texas; grandchildren, Kaylie Stoneking, Bo Blanton, Ryan Blanton, Aaron Blanton, Shawnna Sanchez, and Gary Don Harrison, Jr., 15 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, as well as numerous other family, friends, and loved ones.
